雨水养生要点
“好雨知时节,当春乃发生”。雨水节气是春季的第二个节气,此时气温逐渐回升,降水增多,气候潮湿,人体的养生重点在于调理脾胃、祛除湿气、调畅情志。
一候獭祭鱼:水獭捕获鱼后将其排列在岸边,仿佛祭拜天地,感恩自然的馈赠。
二候鸿雁来:随着天气转暖,大雁从南方飞回北方。
三候草木萌动:草木在春雨的滋润下开始抽出嫩芽,大地呈现出一片生机勃勃的景象。
1、少酸增甘:少吃酸性食物,适当多吃山药、大枣、南瓜、栗子、甘蔗等甘味食品。
2、温补食材:可适当食用姜、葱、蒜、韭菜、羊肉等温补食材,有助于温脾助阳化湿,驱寒暖身。
3、健脾祛湿食物:如芡实、莲子、薏苡仁、山药、赤豆等。
4、避免寒凉:少吃冷饮、生冷瓜果等寒凉之物,以防损伤人体阳气。
1、早睡早起:顺应自然规律,避免熬夜。
2、室内通风:保持室内通风,特别是在晴好天气,保持空气流通,防止湿气滞留,必要时可借助除湿机、风扇等工具防潮除湿。
3、注意保暖:雨水时节天气变化不定,仍需注意保暖,避免受凉。
4、适度运动:适当增加锻炼以促进气血流通,激活身体肌肉、唤醒大脑。可选择散步、太极拳、八段锦等温和的运动。

Rain Water: Warm Thoroughly in Cool Spring – TCM Health Essentials
"Good rain knows its time right; it falls when spring arrives." Rain Water is the second solar term of spring. During this period, temperatures rise gradually, precipitation increases, and the climate turns humid. The focus of human health preservation lies in regulating the spleen and stomach, dispelling dampness, and smoothing emotions.
I. Three Phenological Phases of Rain Water
1. First Phase: Otters Offer Fish as a Sacrifice
After catching fish, otters arrange them along the shore, as if offering sacrifices to heaven and earth to thank nature for its gifts.
2. Second Phase: Wild Geese Return
As the weather turns warmer, wild geese fly back to the north from the south.
3. Third Phase: Plants Germinate
Moistened by spring rain, plants begin to sprout new shoots, covering the earth with a vibrant scene of life.
II. Dietary Regimen
1. Reduce Sour, Increase Sweet Flavors
Eat fewer sour foods and appropriately consume more sweet-flavored foods such as Chinese yam, jujubes, pumpkins, chestnuts, and sugarcane.
2. Warm-Tonifying Ingredients
Properly eat warm-tonifying ingredients like ginger, green onions, garlic, chives, and mutton, which help warm the spleen, assist yang to resolve dampness, and drive away cold to warm the body.
3. Foods for Invigorating Spleen & Resolving Dampness
Such as euryale ferox seeds, lotus seeds, coix seeds, Chinese yam, and adzuki beans.
4. Avoid Cold & Cool Foods
Eat less cold foods like cold drinks and raw fruits to prevent damaging the body’s yang energy.
III. Daily Life Regimen
1. Sleep Early & Rise Early
Follow the laws of nature, sleep early and rise early, and avoid staying up late.
2. Indoor Ventilation
Keep indoor air circulating, especially on sunny days, to prevent dampness from lingering. If necessary, use dehumidifiers, fans, and other tools to remove moisture.
3. Keep Warm Appropriately
The weather is unpredictable during Rain Water; continue to keep warm to avoid catching cold.
4. Moderate Exercise
Properly increase exercise to promote qi and blood circulation, activate body muscles, and arouse the brain. Gentle exercises such as walking, tai chi, and eight-section brocade are recommended.
IV. TCM Substitute Teas
1. Poria Cocos, Tangerine Peel & Rose Tea
